It would be nice to have a speculations tab to go to where we can see all the theorys… :) thanks

We do! It’s the speculation tag.

Index system for fairy tales on Emmas Door

I believe these links to the indexes of fables could somehow be related to the stories they have chosen to use in the show. In lost the producers lied on purpose to throw people off… Maybe this is one of those cases.. I would like to try to find a full list with all the numbers so we can figure it out..

I really don’t think the writers lied about it. It seems that, if they had put clues in there, they’d WANT fans to look at them and try to speculate? Otherewise, why go to the trouble to put the clues at all?

Will we learn the back story of Granny from the story “Little Red Riding Hood”

Please check the spoiler roundup. We swear we haven’t been keeping spoilers hostage, if we know about it, it WILL be there. The only exception to this has been the Beast twist because we thought it was an awesome twist and everyone deserved to be surprised (and then ABC spoiler it anyway, so joke’s on us).

i was thinking about this whole apple tree thing and then realized that with all stories and tales this was clear… the apple represents the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge… maybe this is the reason for the tree… there are parallels.. good and evil…. regina offers the apple like satan offered the fruit to eve ??? :O ps sorry for blowing up your box!

Well, I think the apple is definely a symbol of evil in many stories and fairy tales!

For the Anon’s Question: To me it did look like he was in one of the back rooms at Granny’s. But that’s just me.

That’s probably where it was!

Do you know how the song is called, which we can hear in episode 1x08 when Emma “unload” her energy on toaster?

Unfortunately I have no idea. The ABC Music Lounge hasn’t been updated since 1.03 /fail

I really hope this hasn’t been answered yet, but did you guys notice that all aired episodes with primary numbers are focused on secondary main characters’ plot lines? 1x05 (Jiminy Cricket), 1x07 (The Huntsmen), 1x11 (The Mirror) and if you squint closely Abigail (1x13). The only episodes with an exception are 1x04 (Cinderella) and 1x09 (Hansel&Grethel), because they center around Emma’s plot growth (And we were also told). (Apparently the Mad Hatter episode is 1x17!) What do you think?

That’s interesting! Although I would say 1.11 and 1.13 used guest stars’ storylines to tell us more about main characters (Regina and Charming, respectively).

i just wanted to add to the theories of what August was doing to the book. When the camera pans over the room you can see his typewriter so in this scene i always thought he was just adding pages and stories to the book. I figured he was typing them up, cutting the pages to make them the same size as the pages already in the book, and then he put them in some sort of solution that aged the paper so it looked like the new pages were the same as the old pages. idk thats just my interpretation :)

That’s possible! I really feel like we’ll know more next episode. If he changed the book in any way, Henry is sure to notice.

Have you noticed that the engagement ring Snow/MM wears looks the same as the ring Regina wears while picking up the fallen apples in the 2nd episode? Do you think it has a deeper meaning of Regina somehow being tied up in Charming’s family as well as Snow’s? Or do think its just a happy coincidence? Btw, I post screen caps on my blog for you to reference.

I think it’s a coincidence - I mean, unless Regina is related to Charming’s mother? I don’t think so, but IF she is the Miller’s daughter it could be plausible - 1.06 they DO talk about a “grain merchant’s daughter” (not that I think that’s Regina, but it wouldn’t be strange if Regina and Charming both came from a poor background).

Am I the only one looking if FTL dresses are curtains in SB? Just kidding… no need to answer, I just wanted to say: good work, love your blog :)
